Who are the TTs?

Who are the Travelling Tiki's? We are Mark and Linda, residents of Mexico, from the USA, and former non-profit and for-profit consultants with shady pasts in coffee, chocolate, health care, and high tech. We've been married over 25 years, and enjoy (in no particular order) travelling, meeting people, cooking, eating, drinking, reading, US football (Go OU and Seahawks!), baseball (Go A's!), scuba diving, and kayaking.

Why are we doing this? Though having a blog seems a bit outdated at this point, it's a great way to keep friends and family up to date with what we are thinking and doing during our travels, in a more "curated" way.... And it gives us something to DO.

And why are we calling ourselves this? When we lived in Oakland, California, we were somewhat known for having a pretty developed "tiki-style" bar...

What's with the 2 "l's"? aren't you "Americans" / Estados Unidosenses? Yes, well, the one "l" version was taken on some platforms by a commercial enterprise (mobile tiki bar, of which we approve....)
